Summary\n

The article explores archive materials, connected with the publication of the Albanian part in multilingual dictionary “ Linguarum totius orbisvocabularia comparativa Augustissimae cura collecta” by P. S. Pallas (1787, 1789). Manuscripts from “Adelung Foundation” are analyzed in detail. These sources under investigation are of great interest, because till nowadays there are no documents that could explain who, how and where gathered data for the Albanian part of the dictionary. During my research I managed to find some previously unknown manuscripts with information about history of the Albanian language and its place in the dictionary.
