Summary\n
The article deals with the Middle Welsh translations of the passages related to Greece in Imago Mundi which are known from several manuscripts and go back to distinctive redactions. Various mistakes in the copies are explained, and different strategies of translation are observed. It is concluded that the medieval Welsh audience received the same knowledge of Greece as their counterparts in England or on the Continent.
