Summary\n
The paper analyses a peculiar feature of Crito, a dialogue of the Corpus Platonicum, namely, many references to former discussions, and aims at defining the addressees of those references. An effort has also been made to ascertain the dialogue's dependence on the previous academic tradition. The references to other dialogues and the technical style in the development of many of the Socratic ‘ topoi’ evidence against the early dating of the dialogue.
